Privacy notice

In force from 2 September 2026

This page explains what happens to the data of anyone who completes the form on this site. It is written to be read, not filed: it sets out what we collect, why, where it ends up, how long it stays and how to have it deleted.

Who processes the data

Lascott srl — Via Toledo 205, 80132 Naples, Italy.
VAT no. 04480100611 · Tel. (+39) 081 976 38 62
For anything concerning this notice: privacy@lascott.it

Lascott srl is the data controller. We have not appointed a data protection officer, because none of the conditions requiring one applies: we are not a public authority, we do not carry out large-scale systematic monitoring, and we do not process special categories of data on a large scale.

This site uses no cookies and does not watch you

We set no cookies, run no analytics and use no trackers. The page makes no request to any third-party domain: the typefaces, the images and the three-dimensional viewer are all hosted by us. Opening this site and reading it leaves no data about you with anyone.

The detail is on the cookies page.

What we collect, and only when

One case only: when you complete the enquiry form. There is no other point of collection.

Full name
So that we can address you when we reply.
Organisation
So that we understand what kind of heritage is involved.
Work email
This is the address we reply to.
Telephone
Optional. We ask only because some people prefer a call.
Message
Whatever you write. We suggest you do not include special category data — health, opinions, information about other people: a demonstration request does not need any of it.
Reading language
Italian or English, so that we reply in the language you were reading.
Consent
We record that you gave it, and when.

The form also contains a field invisible to a person and a check on how long completion took: these stop automated programs and collect nothing about you.

Why we process it, and on what basis

Purpose: to read your enquiry and reply to it. Nothing else. No newsletter, no profiling, no advertising.

Legal basis: your consent, Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. That is why the form will not send until you tick the box. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to privacy@lascott.it; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

Where it actually goes

This is worth stating precisely, because it changes what you can ask of us.

There is no archive of enquiries. There is no database and no customer relationship system. When you submit the form two things happen, and that is all:

  1. an email carrying your enquiry arrives in the segreteria@lascott.it mailbox;
  2. a confirmation email arrives with you. It contains only your name: the message you wrote does not appear in it, because that email travels to an address anyone could have typed.

Your enquiry therefore lives as a message in a mailbox. Nowhere else.

Who else touches it

Nobody receives it in order to use it. It is handled only by the suppliers who make the mail and the site work, appointed as processors.

Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL
Receives the form and sends the two emails. Processing takes place in the Ireland (eu-west-1) region, therefore inside the European Union.
Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd
Hosts the Lascott mailbox where the enquiry remains.

We do not sell, transfer or exchange this data with anyone. We may disclose it only where required by law or by an authority.

Transfers outside the European Union

The processing is designed to stay within the European Union. An email provider may nonetheless process data outside the European Economic Area for support or service-continuity purposes; where that happens, the transfer relies on the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the Regulation — a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. You may request a copy of the applicable safeguards by writing to privacy@lascott.it.

How long we keep it

Your enquiry, in the mailbox
12 months from the last exchange, then it is deleted. If the enquiry leads to a contract, the correspondence follows that relationship's retention terms rather than this one.
Technical logs of the sending service
1 month. They hold operational traces; if a send fails they may contain an email address. They then delete themselves.

Your rights

You may at any time ask us to give you access to your data, to correct it, to erase it, to restrict processing, to receive it in a machine-readable format, and to object to processing. You may withdraw consent without giving a reason.

Write to privacy@lascott.it. We reply within one month. Because your enquiry lives as an email, "erase" means deleting that message: it is a simple operation and we carry it out.

If you consider the processing to infringe the Regulation you may complain to the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome — www.gpdp.it), or to the supervisory authority of the country where you live.

No automated decision-making

We take no automated decisions about you and carry out no profiling. Enquiries are read by a person.
